Resveratrol Side Effects.

Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4

As more and more health supplements are being launched and Resveratrol being one of the most talked about supplement, it is quite natural that people will enquire about Resveratrol side effects as well. Though there are no major side effects of Resveratrol, one cannot ignore some of the precautions that need to be taken just to avoid any side effect that might be caused.

The most important and perhaps the most noticeable Resveratrol side effects is loss of appetite. As a majority of people start taking Resveratrol for losing weight, loss of appetite cannot be termed as a side effect of Resveratrol. In fact this is what the weight loss products are meant for. There are many weight loss supplements which work only as an appetite suppressant thereby reducing your food intake, which results in weight loss.

Resveratrol side effects are noticed mainly because of overdose of this supplement. If you take an overdose of Resveratrol or any other supplement for that matter , it is bound affect you adversely. The same is true for Resveratrol as well. If consumed in excess of 500 mg you may feel anemic and numbness in fingers. In some cases people are reported to have diarrhea as well.

There are internet marketers who offer Resveratrol capsules with mega doses i.e. more than 350mg per day. As per some research, absorption of folic acid is restricted if Resveratrol is taken in excess quantity. DNA repair is also restricted as it is dependent on absorption of folic acid. It must be noted here that most of the experiments with Resveratrol have been conducted on mice and not on humans; therefore all the effects cannot be similar for humans. Marketers take the approach of more is better, and produce capsules with high dosage of Resveratrol. Consumers are easily impressed by these finding and cause damage to their body.

Resveratrol is by and large a safe health supplement as long as you follow the dosage carefully. If you take it in excess quantity for speeding up the result, side effects will definite be there.

Resveratrol and Weight Loss

Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4

Resveratrol and weight loss are related in such a way these days that you find very few weight loss supplements with no Resveratrol in it. Resveratrol is a compound which has been proved to be highly effective in helping you burn fat.

It would not be out of context to go deeper to find out why Resveratrol and weight loss are associated. When our body does not have enough food, it starts breaking down stored fat so that it can be used as fuel. This is an inbuilt mechanism in humans to fight scarcity of food. Unlike animals we do not have any genes that can control the abuse of overeating. Human being is the only animal on the planet that eats without feeling hungry. It is because of this habit we tend to gain weight, whereas animals don’t.

Resveratrol works as an appetite suppressant; therefore you have a feeling of fullness all the time. As you do not eat when your body needs energy, it starts burning stored fat. This is what is triggered by Resveratrol. Though you feel full, you do not lack essential nutrients. Resveratrol ensures that you eat only when you actually need it.

Overeating and binging on junk food is greatly reduced if you keep taking Resveratrol regularly. Your cravings for stimulants like tea and coffee also disappears greatly. These effects are the major symptoms by which we can easily conclude that Resveratrol and weight loss are inter related.

A lot of media coverage and endorsements by celebrities have made Resveratrol a very important diet supplement for those who want to lose weight in real quick time. There have been instanced of people who have lost up to 20 lbs in 30 days by taking Resveratrol weight loss supplements. However, I must say that this kind of effect is only possible if you combine your diet with rigorous exercise plan.

Is it Worth it to Buy Resveratrol?

Buy Resveratrol

I guess the old saying that seeing is believing really applies in this case.

Many people have thought that something in the European diet held the key to long life, because of their long life expectancies compared to Americans, along with their dedication to drinking wine nearly every day. Finally we can say that the secret has been discovered. Resveratrol was at the center of the anti-aging effects people were getting, and now that we can buy resveratrol in pure form that can be taken each day, the sky is pretty much the limit.

One of the most powerful antioxidants available, resveratrol is a naturally occuring substance that thankfully is now available in supplement form. While whine that may be the best-known source of resveratrol, it’s also found in the grapes themselves.

The rich molecules of the grape provide a way to naturally detoxify of one’s fat and muscle tissue that have been caused by years of unhealthy build up due to earthly and airborne toxins. Resveratrol can give your body and natural boost when you’re trying to trim the fat and replace it with lean muscle.

Resveratrol has also shown to be effective for anti-inflammatory and anti-aging uses as well. In recent research on resveratrol, it was found that its antioxidant power shows promise as a prevention for cancer and heart disease.

Resveratrol may also help in the prevention of free radical damage within the human body, and can provide better support to blood vessels that were elevated by high amounts of blood glucose.

Some major diseases such as kidney disease and heart disease have both been linked to high levels of glucose in the blood. According to a recent study, you can also lessen your risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease along with a reduced risk of heart disease. It may also help lessen the risk of forming blood clots, as well as helping to prevent or control autoimmune diseases like arthritis.

According to studies, resveratrol can be effective in countering diabetes and helping with insulin resistance. Both of these are well-known contributing factors of obesity. Not only have scientists found that resveratrol can help you lose weight, it has also been shown to increase stamina and help prevent the effects of aging on your physical stamina. This same supplement has had positive effects on humans as well.

Here are some of the positive effects you may see and feel when you buy Resveratrol:

- this is a supplement that’s found in nature. There’s no chemical hangover, which is nice.
- you may feel younger and an increase in strength thanks to the antioxidants
- an increased loss of fat
- a boost in metabolism
- may have antiaging effects thanks to its ability to combat free radicals
- may help prevent kidney disease
- can control and in many cases even prevent inflammation
- can reduce the risk of blood clots
• Alleviates pain and discomfort that comes from arthritis
- live a longer and healthier life
• Treats and prevents obesity
- an increased ability to increase lean muscle
- may be effective at preventing diabetes
- may help prevent things like kidney disease and retinopathy
- can help reduce the risk of heart disease and heart attacks
- has been shown to stop cancer cells from spreading
• Helps to fight disease by supporting the immune and autoimmune systems
- may assist and the prevention and the onset of Alzheimer’s disease

There are many places on the Internet where you can buy resveratrol, but some of the very best, in my opinion, are going to be at the links you find here in this article. Resveratrol is pretty cheap when you consider all of the amazing benefits. At last, there’s a healthy supplement that won’t break the bank.

The only way to prove it to yourself is to give resveratrol a chance!

Longevity Breakthrough in Anti-Aging Resveratrol

healthier living

For your health and wellbeing, longevity gene and Resveratrol facts. Since our ancestors time, the key to longevity and longer life has been in the French countryside, hidden deep. The French paradox, which the French have long benefits from, observes that the French enjoy fatty rich diets, just like people in America, yet they live longer, have less heart disease and experience a higher quality of life in their later years.

Natures organic resveratrol and Resveratrols Facts!
A glass of red wine holds the French secret to a longer and healthier life. The secret is Resveratrol, a tiny molecule in red wine. The full spectrum antioxidants, Resveratrol and Trans-Resveratrol, are found in a plant known as the Japanese knot-weed and the stems, seeds and skins of many grapes. The plants create it as a natural defense to dangers like bad weather and disease.

Studies and vitamin shoppe resveratrol According to medical studies performed at Harvard, Resveratrol, and its active form Trans-Resveratrol, may allow us to live longer and can improve almost every aspect of our health. Scientific research on Resveratrol discovered that it might repair cells at a cellular level, return skin to a youth state, slow and even stop the progression of Arthritis and Alzheimer’s, boost energy and help to prevent blood clots, strokes and heart disease. The secret to longevity and anti-aging is the Trans-Resveratrol, which loses its effect if exposed to sunlight or oxygen. In medical studies, the ultra beneficial and potent Trans-Resveratrol has been proven to activate the SIRT1 “Longevity Gene.”.”

As we become older, our cells begin to have trouble repairing themselves, however this ability is restored by activating SIRT1. The danger of having damaged cells is that it can lead to increased mutation risk, which can cause cancer, increased cell death and even cause the cells to work less efficiently. But, when SIRT1 is activated and cells regain their self-repair ability, it allows them to live longer and be more productive.

The foundation of living longer is built upon mitochondria, which are the key to cellular energy. Trans-Resveratrol has shown the ability to increase the number of mitochondria within the cell, thereby increasing your total daily energy. Studies have shown that Trans-Resveratrol promotes an increase in mitochondrial function, which translates into an increase in energy expenditure, improved aerobic capacity, and enhanced sensorimotor function.

Five Ways to Live A Healthier Life

With cancer popping up left and right, people are all of a sudden becoming more conscious with what they consume and do with their bodies. Fad diets have become a craze and so are gym workouts and alternative exercise for the body. But in spite of being the in thing to do right now, a few people still find it hard to begin walking the route to a life of health and fitness. After all, when you’ve already lived a life of drunken revelry, it will be harder to change and walk the other road even if it is not as less journeyed by.

To assist you, here are some of the ways that you are able to start with your healthy lifestyle.

1. Don’t smoke If you don’t have the habit of smoking, good for you. Don’t try to start as you’ll only get addicted with the cigarettes and it will be more difficult to quit when that happens. It is not true that you are able to smoke and quite when you would like to. It’s not. Once you become hooked into it, there is no turning back. If you are already part of those people who burn their lungs out everyday, the best bet is to make a commitment to quit. By doing this, you are already halfway to recovery. Make sure though that you are serious with your plans and you are not just doing it for any other reason than your health.

2. Lessen the junk One of the ways you are able to help keep your body healthy is to eat foods that are more natural and with less chemical content. Avoid eating junk foods like those huge packs of potato chips or binge on candies. You should also make it a point to lessen your intake of meats and consume more vegetables, fruits and seafood. This does not mean that you will forgo with meat altogether. You should still eat meat. The protein that it contains is important for some of the basic processes of the body.

3. Skip the pop and even the iced tea As much as you can, drink water. This is the best and healthiest drink there is. Pops even the diet ones, are carbonated and contain high amounts of sugar and carbohydrates which can later be translated into fats. You can also try drinking green tea which can help in the digestive system. Iced tea may be tamer than sodas but these drinks also contain a lot of sugar which can accumulate in the body. Stick to water and drink lots of it.

4. Stay active Another way to start living a life of health and fitness without having to shell out money and make lots of effort is to schedule an exercise routine every day. You can schedule it every morning when you wake up in the morning or do it at night after work. Whichever schedule you want to, make sure that you keep it to 30 minutes long to an hour. That way, you can exercise those muscles and avoid muscle pains. Exercise will also strengthen your bones and your body, promote better breathing and cellular activity, clear the brain and of course keep those extra calories out of the body. Thus, even if you eat a lot, you are not storing those fats and carbohydrates. You are expending them through your workout routine.

5.  Aging skin is a problem for many people who are looking to maintain a youthful and attractive appearance. Time, climate, seasons, and diet are all contributors to the sagging, wrinkling, and general deterioration of skin.Staying out of the sun is a major factor in the prevention of skin cancers

LONGEVITY SECRETS

Longevity has been a quest by many people for aeons of time. The purpose of the Longevity Reference & Directory is to present proven strategies for life extension from all over the world. There are pockets of the world’s population where people live much longer than the longevity nations (China, Japan, Korea) such as the Hunzas in the Himalayas, the Vilcambas in the Andes, the Abkhasians and Georgians on the Black Sea, the East Indian Todas and the Yucatan Indians. Researchers tracking cultures living the longest have found that its not unusual for these peoples to live a life of quality. Work and play beyond 80 years and beyond is typical. A majority, attain 100 years remaining active and honored by all they live with. Here are the longevity habits of these people. Sections that will be covered are the main pillars of longevity health

  1. Longevity Supplements
  2. Sleep
  3. Stress Reduction
  4. Exercize
  5. Nutrition & Water
  6. Positive Mental Attitude
  7. Environment

THE 7 PILLARS TO A LONGER, HEALTHIER LIFE

  1. SLEEP

Sleep more, age less…Sleep is not an optional activity. It is as essential to life as water and food and is essential for a strong immune system.

Any book dedicated to the topic of aging will cite the necessity for enough sleep, which is 7-9 hours.

There is a strong relationship between deep sleep and the release of Growth Hormone as well. It is during sleep that adults secrete the greatest amount of HGH.

2. STRESS REDUCTION

You cannot deny the health benefits of stress reduction.

Stress reduction can go a long way in reducing symptoms of aging along with the onset of disease.

In a recent article by Dr. Paul E. Lemanski from the Albany Medical College writes,

‘Stress causes the release of ‘fight or flight’ hormones which increase blood flow to our large muscles, increase our heart rate, respirations and blood pressure, and decreases blood flow to the gastrointestinal tract including the saliva glands.

3. EXERCISE

In the 1998 book called ‘Successful Aging’ a summary of the MacArthur Foundation study on aging in America, which had begin in 1987, showed that almost all healthy seniors had been physically active throughout their life.

Dr. Andrew Weil, a well-known proponent of alternative or complementary medicine and the author of, ‘Healthy Aging’, supports the idea that up until modern times, humans have almost always been physically active, simply by surviving off the land. Today we work off computers. Bottom line is that we need some form of daily exercise. Any yes, walking counts, if done briskly.

4. NUTRITION

In the interest of keeping this newsletter brief, but informative, I think I can say with confidence that long elaboration on this pillar is not necessary. We all know the importance of good nutrition and a balanced diet.

However, I can cite many studies that suggest that the Mediterranean Diet is among the healthiest in the world with its fruits, vegetables, legumes, cereals and fish, mild to moderate amounts of alcohol and low amounts of red meat and dairy products, not to mention lots of healthy fats like olive oil.

5. WATER

Like that of nutrition, lots can be said and studies can be cited all day long as to which type of water is best for us.
One thing is for sure however. Drinking ‘enough’ (and that is the keyword) water on a daily basis is essential for proper elimination and detoxification.

6. SUPPLEMENTATION

Today it is becoming very hard to argue against proper supplementation in order to maintain health. Skeptics are falling like flies in the light of all the convincing studies that show the importance of proper supplementation.

It seems we always need studies to confirm what common sense naturally tells us and studies are abound.

Many well-respected scientists, researchers, and medical professionals have discovered the relationship between mineral deficiencies and a wide variety of health conditions, which afflict the human body.

Our soils just don’t have the minerals necessary for optimal healthfulness, so supplementation is crucial.

Herb medicine is another beneficial natural source of highly mineralized, vitaminized food. Besides the health engendering alkalods contained there are dense nutrients which provides the human body the potential for correction. The key is the knowledge of the practitioner and chooser of the herbs essential for balance to be achieved.

7. POSITIVE MENTAL ATTITUDE

In the book ‘power of positive thinking’ Norman Peale writes that having faith in yourself makes good things happen to you. This same theme has been written about over and over, each book with a different angle, but with the same basic, underlying message.

There are of course other pillars to support a long and healthy life, but these are what we consider the most fundamental. More in-depth information can be found at “Longevity Secrets“

How to find an amazing anti aging skin care product

When was the last time you bought an anti aging skin care product that actually did what it said on the box? This article will show you exactly what you need to look for in these products, and why the most well-known, big brand products usually aren’t the best.

The skin care industry is an extremely lucrative one. With all that money being made you inevitably get the overhyped advertising. You have your obligatory celebrity endorsements. Some well-known actress sitting there in all her post-processed perfection rubbing some substance on her face while purring out a clever company slogan.

Or how about they tell you that their product now contains “Substance A”, which you’ve never heard of and have no idea what it actually is, but since it’s finally part of this product it must be good, right?

Wrong.

For now, just pretend you never heard that. A good skincare product is not made by the celebrity that endorses it or the amount of dollars available to the marketing department. It’s about what is best for your skin. It’s about looking great and feeling fantastic about yourself without having to worry about side effects or long term damage you may be inflicting on your skin for short term results.

Yes, that’s simplifying things quite a lot, but the most famous anti aging skin care products seldom offer the best results. Quite often they don’t. Huge skin care companies that you see advertising on TV every evening has been exposed as using chemical substitutes for natural ingredients and selling it for big money.

Breakthroughs are being made all the time in natural skincare, yet there are precious few companies that choose to go the natural route. Through the internet in particular, people are getting more knowledgable. We are more and more conscious of living more naturally, both in what we eat and drink, and also in what we put on our skin.

Indeed, your skin is one big organ. Natural anti aging skin care products containing a balanced combination of pure ingredients come without the risk of undesired side effects, yet yields fantastic results. Be aware that there are still companies that produce great, effective natural products through proper clinical testing and research.

A proper anti aging skin care product should…

- stimulate the regrowth of collagen and elastin
- increase the levels of hyaluronic acid
- combat free radicals, which damages your skin through oxidation

…and most importantly, it should do so using natural ingredients that are clinically proven to work.

How to look years younger - 5 anti aging skin care tips

Are you ready to shoot for a younger looking skin? Here are 5 simple anti aging skin care tips that will help you look years younger in no time, as well as a recommendation on the best antiaging skin cream.

1. The sun is your enemy

The sun and your skin are not the best of friends. The sun is probably considered something of an undesirable family member by your skin. It’s ok if they visit every now and then just to keep up appearances, but once the sun has emptied its cup of tea and eaten its piece of cake, your skin will kindly show it the door.

UV exposure has a hand in almost every ailment that plagues the aging skin. It is indeed safe to assume that the sun has a finger in the pie of every age spot or wrinkle your skin develops!”.

Protect yourself from the sun by wearing proper sunscreen with an SPF of at least 15, depending on your skin type.

2. Can those ciggies

Ever read the warning labels on cigarette packs? That smoking can shorten your life? More than likely cause cancer? Or give the people in your house cancer? Well, those are not jokes. There is nou doubt that smoking is bad for you.

Just see how often the skin of long time heavy smokers take on a wrinkled, leathery appearance. If you happen to be one yourself, it’s no wonder you’re reading this article.

Smoking has an accumulating damaging effect on the body, which resonates in your skin as well. To quit smoking is a huge step in slowing down the aging of your skin.

3. Eat your veggies

A healthy diet rich in anti-oxidants is one of the keys to putting the brakes on the aging process. If you are a fan of supplements, keep in mind that they are no more than just that: supplements. There is no substitute for a balanced diet.

4. Don’t put just anything on your skin

Even big brand skin care products are prone to containing a shocking number of potentially dangerous ingredients. Just because a celebrity endorses an antiaging skin cream doesn’t mean it’s actually any good.

Take the trouble to find out what is good for your skin and what isn’t, or use the knowledge of people who have done the research.

Remember - your skin absorbs whatever you put on it. Think about that for a moment.

5. Use organic products

The safest way to go about the anti aging skin care process is the natural way. You may easily be led to believe that natural products can’t be as effective as chemicals and drugs. Nature has a cure for much everything, and there are still skin care companies that spend most of their budget on the research and perfection of these natural cures instead of advertising and celebrity endorsements.

You just need to know where to look.

Resveratrol and wine - is it as good as they say?

Resveratrol Benefits

For years we’ve been told that drinking wine, and in particular red wine, was beneficial to your health. We know better now, but early on some people assumed that it was the alcohol in the wind that was responsible for the healthy benefits. But they were very wrong.

And we’ve recently seen now, from the trials and studies that have been done, that the true health benefits we’re getting from the wine are from the resveratrol.

By the way, in a second I’m going to show you why drinking wine in order to get the benefits of resveratrol is a dangerous way to go about things.

For example, if you’d like to know how to get resveratrol into your system without having to do damage to your body by drinking massive amounts of alcohol, then check out this resveratrol and wine article.

I really can’t stress enough how important this really is. So please give it a look.

First, let’s discuss what resveratrol is, and what its relationship is to wine.

So finally we know what it is in the wine that is responsible for things like the French Paradox and other mysteries relating to how people who eat a less than ideal diet still manage to remain largely free of the kinds of diseases and health problems that afflict so many Americans.

It wasn’t known until very recently that resveratrol was as powerful as it is. Not only that, but it’s almost 50 times more powerful than vitamin C, and can even slow down the aging process and help protect you against cancer.

Excellent stuff. Now, the only real drawback to resveratrol is that you have to drink lots of wine as we mentioned above. And of course this is because of all the wine you’d be forced to drink to get enough resveratrol to realize the benefits. Now, I know that for some of you this might actually sound like fun. But you should understand that because of all the alcohol you’d have to drink, you’d quickly develop other health problems and resveratrol wouldn’t be able to help you.

Unfortunately, since you have to drink all the alcohol it’s in that wine, you’re going to largely destroy the benefits of the resveratrol. Your body has to work extra hard to remove the toxicity associated with the alcohol you’re drinking. So obviously you can see that you’re probably doing more harm than good. Yes, you’re getting resveratrol, but the drawbacks outweigh the benefits.

At the beginning of this article I promised that we’d cover some recommendations for getting a good dose of resveratrol safely, so let’s get to that right now. Keep in mind, it’s importance to get your hands on sources of resveratrol that don’t require alcohol. So in other words, you’d have to drink so much wine to get sufficient amounts of resveratrol that it would do more harm than good. So, here’s what I recommend…

Right now, go see this Resveratrol and Wine site, where you’ll get videos that show the best sources for resveratrol. Maybe the best thing about this is that you don’t need to drink alcohol.
